Modern Family kicked off 2011 with an episode that was a bit too over-the-top. Thank goodness Luke saved the day by introducing us to the world’s best teacher.

Modern Family didn’t air its funniest or most original episode this week. Still, there were a handful of winning scenes and quotes, as listed here.

Manny turned 13 this week, while Phil turned on the waterworks and Mitchell turned into a flash mob dancer extraordinaire. It all contributed to a sweet, hilarious episode of Modern Family.
