Rachel: Why should I believe you?

Rachel: People have lied to me so many different times, in so many creative and different ways, I've stopped wondering why they do it. What's the point? It's what they do.
Mara: Paul. something weird happened. One of the digital characters just spoke to me. Last time they just froze.
Paul: What else did it do?
Mara: Threatened me, chased me, tried to strangle me.
Paul: Well, that's great.
Mara [sarcastically]: Thanks.

Mara: Paul said [the side effects] are temporary.
Charlie: Temporary if you follow instructions, which, in my experience, is not something you do.
Mara: I'll be fine.
