When you watch Switched at Birth Season 4 Episode 5 you will get a front row seat at the very real subject of rape and how different parties view their actions. When Bay wakes up naked next to Tank after a night filled with drinking she has no clue what happened and tries to put together the pieces. She goes to different people to find out what exactly happened at the party and as she is learning more and more she realizes she was taken advantage of. It is when she talks to Regina that she figures out she may have been raped. When she goes to talk to Tank he is at first nonchalant about the whole thing and promises not to tell anyone. Later on when she confronts him again and tells him she feels violated he gets angry with her and says she was into it. Bay tries to explain how could she have been into it when she doesn't even remember giving him permission to have sex with her. Tank again tries to convince her she was a willing participant and that she was the one who kissed him first, but when she thinks back to the moment she remembers pushing him away. After talking with him Bay leaves angry and she goes to confide in Daphne. While talking to Daphne, Bay explains when she woke up she had a bad feeling in stomach that something terrible happened and Daphne tells her she needs to trust her gut.
