Mrs. Putnam: I thank God for her every day and for those who brought her to me.
Luke: You sent her a finger. How is that going to help our family? How is that going to help you? That is not going to get Hannah back.

Commander Lawrence: I got them to say yes.
Serena: How?
Commander Lawrence: By not being a woman. [Mark snickers]
Mark: Would you like to see your daughter in person rather than askin' about her?
Nick: That's a pipe dream.
Mark: I know you got a complicated past, but America can be a very forgiving place. If you make amends, get some visibility, play your part for a while. I'd like to help you and your daughter if you'll let me. We could help each other.
Esther: You know, I really didn't like you when we first met. [Janine laughs] And I was right the first time.
Janine: What? Why?

Janine: Esther, I was trying to help you survive like June helped me.
