Byron is upset about everytihng that he's hearing and feels like everything must have been due to Eleanor's brain tumor.

Benny is more excited about getting to hear the story and learning the truth about everything.

Byron leaves for a work thing and because he's still emotional about everything he heard.

Benny spends time with Charles, the lawyer who is helping with all of this and who was an old friend of their fathers who must have had a closer relationship with Eleanor than they thought.

Benny talks about memories with her mother and the things they used to do together and Charles reassures her that Eleanor was always proud of Benny.

Benny wants more informaton about her mother and how she was in the past eight years since they've been estranged.

Benny explores the house and her mother's things and getting emotional.

She plays her mother's last voicemail message to her while laying in her mother's bed and crying.

Byron shows up to meet with his boss and sees that he's with his competition. Byron learns that Lark, his colleague, got the positon as director.

Byron returns to the house and says he called Charles. He lies to Benny about the position.

She and Ellie talk about being homesick even though Ellie keeps catching Coventina in little lies. Ellie was an orphan, and it's evident that Eleanor stole Ellie's story along with her name.

They throw a party for Ellie and someone introduces Coventina to a boy from the area she's supposed to be from, making it harder for her to keep her cover.

Coventina encourages Ellie to head to Scotland to follow her dreams of studying geology and says that she'll go with her.

Coventina tells Ellie the truth about where she comes from and Ellie tells her that she doesn't have to tell her the full story and truth, but she'll be there if she needs her.

The train has a horrific crash whiile they're headed to Scotland, and Coventina is injured.

News travels back home that Covey is dead.

Little Man's men are still looking into made that attempt and helped Covey.

Lin is reaching out to Leonard, Bunny's father, but he doesn't want anything to do with Lin because of the danger he brought to them all with marrying Covey off.

They've been harassing Bunny because she was close to Covey and they think she may have helped.

Bunny feels lost without Covey. She hasn't been able to swim anymore, and she wants to be able to swim again.

Leonard wants Bunny to think about working with a swim coach and marrying him for the protection. Little Man's men kick Lin out of his own shop and beat him up, stealing his money.
