Blue Bloods Season 12 Episode 19 revolves around events that are seemingly out of people's control.

When Jamie is driving home from a party, he realizes he feels weird and pulls over to call a Uber, after calling the host to tell him what happened. While he is waiting, a car crashes into a utility pole. Jamie rushes to help the driver, but the officers on scene realize he's high and think he caused the accident.

Later, things get worse for Jamie because the driver claims Jamie caused the accident. Frank feels he can't help resolve this situation and Jamie doesn't want him to, either, because it'll look like he got special favors as Frank's son. Jamie's friend deleted the message from his phone so that it wouldn't harm his own career, so Jamie has no proof he didn't cause the accident except his word.

Meanwhile, Frank interferes when he finds out some medical news about Henry, and Henry is upset when he finds out about it, accusing Frank of trying to fix everything even when the person doesn't need a fixer.

And finally, Erin deals with a former prisoner who is stalking her because he feels he was wrongly convicted by her predecessor.

Frank: I know.
Henry: He called this afternoon and said he wanted me to come in.
