On Blue Bloods Season 8 Episode 3, Erin suspects foul play when a judge that was presiding over a major case she's prosecuting is found dead. The judge apparently jumped off a rooftop, though Erin suspects this is not a suicide.

Erin asks Danny to investigate, but that may be a problem, because he doesn't seem capable of getting along with her investigator. Danny is sure Erin is right, but his new partner is not so convinced and it's driving him crazy. They're working against the clock, too, as a new judge gives Erin only 48 hours to prove that the original judge was murdered before she rules on whether the defendant gets a mistrial!

Erin is desperate to put this woman behind bars, as she is a sex trafficker that ruined young girls' lives. She therefore doesn't tell anyone that the woman is threatening her. When she finally tells Danny, he realizes this is the proof they need that someone ordered a hit on the judge.

Meanwhile, Frank butts heads with Regina Taylor, an opportunistic legislator who wants to use a community police program Frank wants and the Mayor does not to buttress her own Mayoral campaign.
