The police suspect that Kodie kidnapped her children frm school. Joanna pleads with Owen to give her time to find the kids before sending out an amber alert. 

Joanna and Billy regroup at Kodie's and speculate where she might have gone. Joanna remembers a camp Kodie took her to when they were kids. With help from Beckbie, she remembers where it is and goes after Kodie. One of Mercer's guys tails her.

Joanna finds Kodie. They fight. Joanna suggests she goes to stay with a cousin. Mercer and his guys show up but Joanna, Kodie and the kids get away.

The Mayor is unhappy with Owen keeping her out of the loop and sending out a BOLO instead of an Amber Alert. Mercer and some cops loyal to him decide to go looking for the kids. Owen sends out the amber alert. Owen and Mercer have an altercaton. Mercer claims Owen hit him during a press conference and files a complaint.

Taylor shows up looking for Luna. She tells Luna what happened with Mitchell. They have an argument. Mitchell shows up at Crawford Chang looking for Taylor. She and Luna hide inside from Mitchell and get into another fight. Luna calls MFS with a false report to get rid of Mitchell.

Billy asks his father about the Chartrands; he gets the idea that True might have an anxiety disorder, which he suggests they can use to convince a judge that Kodie was worried about the kids being seperated. He gets a True's doctor to write a post-dated recommendation that True see a psychiatrist. 

Kodie reveals that when Joanna ran, David Hanley called MFS on her mom. Joanna has Billy look into the details.

Joanna calls Beckbie and gets Kodie to agree to a deal. The court ignores the deal.
