It's the annual Policeman’s Benevolent Association Talent Show and apparently Ryan and Esposito have won it the last two years. This time they must come up with a routine to beat last year's Dirty Dancing Inspired, "The Crime of Our Lives" performance. They think they've got it with their Daft Punk "Get Lucky" routine but when Jimmy Kimmel backs out and Rick Castle is asked to mc, a battle is on when Rick enters he and Beckett in the contest. The boys make a wager. If they win, they want the dedication of Castle's next book to be make out to them, Two guys who are funnier, handsomer and better than me in every way." If Castle and Beckett win, Castle wants to be called King Castle or Your Royal Highness for a month. The problem is that Rick has no idea that Kate suffers from stage fright. When she shares that detail with Martha along with the fact that she doesn't want to let Rick down, Castle ends up convincing Kimmel to step back in as MC thus relieving Castle of his place in the talent show.
