Torres attends a friend's christening of their baby. He tries to catch up with Mia, but she's still upset about her cousin.

Someone leaves something on Torres' car, a note, and it leads him to a car with a friend of his family's in the trunk. His friend Juan apologizes to him before dying.

Voight wants to know what happened and why they reached out to him.

they get a lead on a location and Torres opts to take the basement. He takes down a picture of himself down but Hailey notices that something is up with him and he's off.

Atwater finds a gun. Hailey implies to Voight that something is off with Torres

A shooter starts shooting at them outside the location and Atwater and Burgess go after him while Torres tends to an innocent bystander who got shot. Kim follows the perp and drops them with one shot when they try to shoot back at her.

They find text messages that implies that someone lured Juan somewhere, Torres realizes that it was Mia and wants to go see her alone. He talks her into coming in to chat and Voight interrogates her and tells her she has to help them in order for her to not get in trouble for Juan's murder.

They bug Mia so she can take them to Navarro. He talks about Juan's death but starts talking about how Torres used to work with him and was Juan's enforcer. The others hear it on the comms and Voight tells Mia to get out. They arrest Navarro on coke charges.

He talks to Voight about Torres being dirty while in the cage.

They take Mia to a safe house but then it's burned. The guy at the bar when Navarro got arrested attacked the place.

Torres goes after him. He corners him in a school and ties him to the chair and goes dark after telling the others what happened.

He starts to pretend like he's going to waterboard him because of the rumor that he waterboarded someone else and killed them while he was an enforcer.

Hank and Hailey catch up to them and spilit up. Voigh sees and hears what Torres does but doesn't stop him. The kid gives up some infromationa bout Navarro or something related to the case.

Torres thinks he's going to be fired. He repents for his sins in the same church he was in before. Voight meets him outside of it.

Torres tells Voight the truth about Paco, the boy everyone thinks he killed. He sent him away instead, and he was the one who got waterboarded when he got out of the gang with Juan and stopped being his enforcer, and he wants to make up for his past. But he's not fired.

Mia relocates and still only wants to be friends with Torres.
