Back in 2009, Dominic and NYL bail out Hans Becker's failing German bank in exchange for future support. Massimo pours over Edward's documents which Sofia stole from Bale. Massimo uncovers an intriguing arrangement between NYL and Hans' bank. Alex is tailing Sofia. Jeremy Stonehouse, NYL's CEO, confronts Dominic over his plan and his strategy. He's also concerned about Massimo. Massimo calls in his team to go over what he's discovered about Dominic's setup with Hans' bank. Oliver finds a gun in his brother Tryone's backpack. Massimo shows Ed's documents to Eleanor and Kalim. He wants them to determine why $250 million is being moved through NYL every month. Oliver is late and gets cut out of the loop. Dominic wants Hans to help him bring down Italy and the Euro. Massimo and Sofia arrive at the shuttered nuclear plant that's being used as collaterol. Massimo tells Sofia his electronic signature is on all the documents. Massimo gives Sofia the documents. She tells Duval her trip was a bust. Massimo confronts Dominic. Hans shoots himself.
