Dr. Paul Hendricks is found in a park naked and stabbed to death and then mutilated and posed to look like he was praying. He had been threatened by Derek Lawson the previous week. Maggie sees blood in Lawson's back seat. Lawson says he hit a dog and took it to a vet. Military author Col. James Logan, a second victim, is found in a similar position while Lawson is in custody. Father Burns identifies a man in a photo taken near the second killing as Frank Silver, who he fired after he started saying bizarre things. Silver is staying in an abandoned church. Maggie falls through the floor. She finds a captive woman, Mary. Stuart and Tiffany find the killer's weapons and trophies. Nina's doctor wants her to come to the hospital and Scola rushes there. Nina has a listeria infection and needs antibiotics, so it doesn't spread to the baby. She sends Stuart back to work. A profiler says Silver has a God complex. He abducted Mary four days earlier and he raped her repeatedly. Elise finds an article about Judge Draper. Nina's doctor has to induce labor and Scola leaves. Silver slips into the courthouse. Scola has to decide who takes priority: Nina or the baby. Maggie orders a stubborn Draper to his chambers. OA spots Silver further down the stairs. Silver fires wildly, hitting a guard. Silver steals a livery vehicle. Stuart prioritizes Nina's life. Elise uses GPS to track him to a cemetary. They corner him and he runs out of bullets. Maggie enters a mausoleum without backup. He rushes her, knocks her gun away, and holds an awl to her neck. OA and Tiffany catch up to them. Maggie turns him and OA shoots him in the leg. Both Nina and the baby boy survive.
