Charles, Pollan, a federal judge, is gunned down in the street.

OA and Gemma get into an argument over his not telling her about Cate's death until days afterward. Then he asked her about her drug use.

The ADA Pollan was with tells Maggie and OA what the shooter said, which is a Muslim hadith.

They interview the director at a local Islamic center, who had written five angry letters to the judge about a recent sentencing.

OA sees the janitor, Hassan Khalil, sneaking away and notices he has a gun.

He and Maggie chase down Hassan, only to discover he's an FBI agent who has been undercover for three months.

Hassan's partner is Jessica Blake, who went to Quantico with Maggie.

Hassan points them to the man he has been investigating, Yardan Qadir.

OA and Maggie pressure Qadir's boss at a restaurant for his home address.

When they arrive at Qadir's apartment with a tactical team, they come under fire.

OA chases Qadir to the roof, eventually shooting and killing him.

But a neighbor tells Tiffany that a teenager, wearing the same jacket as the shooter, left about an hour before the FBI arrived.

They locate the home of Adil Kazem, the teen, but he's not there.

Under Adil's mattress, OA find a manifesto that Hassan had given to him.

OA confronts Hassan about this. Hassan tells him that he was planning to use Adil to infiltrate Qadir's cell.

From Qadir's devices, they uncover the boss of the local terrorist cell, Saudi banker Asghar.

Since Asghar won't know what Adil looks like, Hassan volunteers to pose as him to entrap Asghar.

Hassan sells Asghar on being a true believer by being willing to martyr himself, pulling the trigger on a gun he held to his head.

Asghar sends him to help Adil, who has been ordered to kill a Iraqi War veteran who is being honored in a ceremony. Then Asghar is arrested.

The congresswoman staging the ceermony refuses to call it off.

Hassan sees and confronts Adil, but Adil wounds him and runs off. Hassan and OA pursue him. 

Adil drops a shelf of boxes on OA but Hassan shoots Adil because he can kill OA.

OA figures out that Hassan gave Adil a gun, to help him infiltrate Qadir's cell.

They have it out over what being a Muslim FBI agent means.

Jessica and a man from the Office of Personal Responsibility come in to investigate Hassan's actions.
