Eve sets up both Freddy and Frasier on blind dates, telling each of them nothing about the women they are being set up with before they meet.

June Patrick shows up at the apartment. She's older than Freddy but younger than Frasier. As Frasier meets her first, he assumes June is his date. While Frasier is in the kitchen getting June wine, Freddy comes home and assumes June is his date.

Separately, they both flirt with her, and she appears to flirt back with each of them.

They try to call Eve, but she's in the middle of performing in her friend's play, which Alan and Olivia are suffering through in the audience.

While Freddy tries to prove he is emotionally available, Frasier tries to appear young and active. Then, someone else is at the door, and they assume it must be another date.

It's Ida at the door, who is older than Frasier and says Eve told her Frasier would have what she needs. Freddy laughs, and Frasier frets, believing this is his blind date until Ida says she's there for milk for baby John because Eve is out. Frasier gets her the milk and hurries her out the door, soon learning that Freddy knew she was the babysitter all along.

Freddy overhears June telling her friend on the phone that she was set up with a firefighter, but she feels like she clicks more with his father.

Freddy decides to step aside and worries that June can sense that he has commitment issues. Frasier points out that Freddy is committed to his job and to Eve and John. He's committed to rebuilding his relationship with his father. He's just specific to what and whom he emotionally commits to.

Someone else is at the door. It must be the date for Frasier. Frasier decides he'll send whoever it is away and continue to see how things go with June. But then he opens the door to Siobhan, an opera singer who performed in Milan and brings him specialty sherry.

Frasier goes back into the kitchen and tells Freddy he'll buy him a big-screen TV for his room if he takes June out so he can have dinner with Siobhan. But Siobhan and June overhear.

June is angry that Frasier would have to bribe Freddy to go out with her, while Siobhan can't believe Frasier couldn't wait for the date who was coming for him.

Frasier apologizes for being a cad but is thrilled that both women were into him, as June and Siobhan ditch the guys and decide to go out for a drink together.
