Hannah, Adam, and her parents, get together to toast Hannah and her next step. Adam is late for dinner since his acting career has jumpstarted a bit and he was on an audition. He also did a commercial for an anti-depressant.

Jessa seems to be mad at Hannah for leaving after Hannah dragged her back from rehab last season. Hannah says she's not "bailing." Jessa's employer Beedie is moving to Connecticut with her daughter, played by Natasha Lyonne. Her daughter knows about the attempted suicide and get into a fight with Jessa.

Shoshanna finally graduates from NYU and is embarrased by her parents. Her mother is played by guest star Ana Gasteyer. Shoshanna also seems to make peace with Ray.

Marnie and Desi are still performing together. They are also having an affair and Marnie loves him, despite the fact that he is still dating Clementine. Marnie and Desi get heckled by kids at the brunch and Marnie cries and walks off. The next day she goes to Hannah's at 6 AM to help her pack and leave for Iowa.
