- Mika's van house gets towed.
- It's Mer's last day and she has the kids there to say goodbye to everyone.
- Maggie and Winston will perform a partial heart transplant for a baby Jo delivered recently who needs it.
- The interns compete for a chance to observe the surgery.
- Nick shows up to talk to Grey and they get into it again because she's mad he didn't say I love you back.
- the baby's mom doesn't want to do the surgery
- The writer gets rushed into the hospoital and Simone and Lucas have them page Meredith.
- Mika goes to talk to Helm and seeks her advice.
- Nick and Mer struggle to keep Tessa, the writer, alive but it's too late and she's gone.
- Mika wins the compeition and gets to observe the surgery with Maggie and Winston.
- Maggie recognizes that she and Winston are good together in the OR.
- Tessa gave Simone the last book that she wrote on a flash drive and Simone gives it to Mer.
- Lucas gets advice from Amelia about fighting harder for his patients and not caring what other people think.
- They throw a going away party for Mer.
- Nick calls Mer and tries to get to the airport. He tells her he loves her over the phone but she acts like she can't hear him and says she'll speak to him when she gets settled.
- Mer gave Simone a key to the Grey house. Amelia gave Lucas a key to the house, and they show up at the same time and simone says she doesn't want to use him as a rrebound from her engagment. But he's okay.
- Mika shows up because maggie gave her a key.
