Rosalee plans an epic get-together for Team Grimm at a lovely mountain hotel to celebrate Monroe's birthday. Unfortunately, one of the staff at the hotel recognizes Nick as the cop who put his father in jail.

The Cupiditas uses his Wesen magic to enchant the friends to fall in love with each other, to the point where they cause violence. His plan goes somewhat awry, however, when Rosalee does not drink due to her pregnancy.

The next morning sees chaos reign when Nick declares his love for Rosalee, Monroe for Eve, Adalind for Monroe, Wu for an unfortunate member of the serving staff (whose hair got in the champagne), and Hank for... himself.

Rosalee recongizes the symptoms and figures out the identity of the Cupiditas, but he takes the other server hostage. When she calls for help, Wu comes running to her aid and throws the Wesen off a cliff. The spell is broken.

Back in Portland, Diana is left with Renard for the weekend. Lt. Grossante, angry at Renard's apparent betrayal over not giving him the position of captain at the precinct, kidnaps Diana and threatens to kill her.

Renard is momentarily frantic but quickly realizes that Grossante is actually in far more danger from Diana than she is from him. Indeed, it isn't long before she turns the tables and has him begging for mercy before Renard comes to pick her up.
