Recap

Corlys is in bad health, and while Rhaenys wants to ascend the throne or one of her grandchildren, Vaemond is vehemently denying it to her.

As a result, everyone makes their way to King's Landing, where Otto looks to be making the decision because Viserys is ill.

Daemon and Rhaenyra go to the king's bedside and speak to him about their lives.

The king is happy to know that they have had children, and they have a great moment between the family.

Rhaenyra is worried about what will happen with the throne in Driftmark, so she tells Rhaenys they should get the kids to wed to keep the throne there.

Rhaenys knows Rhaenyra is struggling with the loss of power.

At the event for the throne, Viserys arrives, and Rhaenyra keeps butting in. Vaemond calls her a whore, leading to Viserys saying he will have his tongue.

Daemon chops his head off and says he can keep his tongue.

Viserys rounds up the family and says he wants to have a supper. There are some shocking dynamics between the kids, but for the most part, Rhaenyra and Alicent squash their beef.

The king is in his bed and starts mumbling about the Prince That Was Promised and how he would need to be on the throne.

Alicent rushes off and he seemingly takes his last breath. Did he start the Targaryen civil war?
