- Felix offers Murphy comfort and tries to get her to eat and talk.
- Everyone shows up for Max's funeral.
- Murphy speaks at the funeral. She talks fondly about Max.
- Josh is there and smirks when he hears how torn up and angry Murphy is about losing Max, but then when she swears to find the person who did this and make them pay, he gets shaken up and leaves the funeral.
- Chloe shows up at the funeral to talk to Murphy too and offer her condolences.
- Murphy goes to Jimmy McKay to find out who called him that day to tip him off. She offers to go along with McKay's intention to plead self defense in echange for the name. McKay tells her it was Josh.
- Murphy tells Felix the truth and he has to talk her into not going after Josh saying Max wouldn't want this
- Murphy wakes up and grabs a knife. She leaves in the middle of the night and goes to Josh's apartment. She breaks in...but Josh isn't there and she's upset and breaks down.
- Felix shows up at Josh's house to find Murphy. He gives her information abut where Josh could be since he went to a vacation house after being spooked by what Murphy said.
- Felix drives her to the cabin.
- When Felix realizes what she's doing and intends, he tries to stop her, but Josh comes out with a gun and tells them to get off his property.
- Felix knocks him down and wrestles the gun from him. Josh runs to Max's car and tries to run them over, and Felix ends up holding Josh's gun on him at having him at gunpoint.
- Felix tells Murphy to choose him and their friendship instead of trying to kill Josh because he needs her.
- Felix tries to facilitate a talk between Murphy and Josh. Josh apologizes and cries. Murphy doesn't believe him.
- Murphy realizes Felix put Josh up to it.
- Felix leaves Murphy there but taks th gun. It's a cat and mouse game, but Murphy stabs Josh to death, leaves, disposes her clothes, and smokes.
- Felix picks her up and they ride off into the sunset.
