At a party Donnelly says he isn't listening to his wife about being in the delivery room. She says he will be there. She asks Stabler for beef for the baby. He asks her how they met. She tells him how she was Donnelly's mistress first. When she says that she's glad Stabler was there for his wife when she was pregnant, Stabler drinks.

The rest of the Brotherhood are worried about what Santos will do. Donnelly says he has lots of leverage on the inside. A guy says this sort of thing didn't happen before Stabler showed up. Stabler says he's the only one who was there for Santos and offers to fight the guy. Donnelly says let's settle it down. He's making Stabler his #2 as he trusts him.

Cassandra is giving someone a tour of the gallery while the Marcy Killers are collecting illegal guns that have jus tbeen shipped. Cassandra is called down. Webb says one of the crates is missing. Cassandra tells him to fix it.

Webb calls Stabler and Donnelly. Donnelly says that Webb is a criminal, why is this their problem? Webb shoots an automatic weapon, missing them on purpose. Stabler says relax, what did you want us to do? Webb says he wants them to investigate. Stabler says we will if we get the guns. Donnelly isn't happy that Stabler took charge.

Bell questions Santos about stolen diamonds. He claims not to know what she's talking about. She questions him about Hurley. Give up the murderer and he walks. She wants to know about the Brotherhood. He says what Brotherhood? Bell tells him if he keeps stonewalling, he is going down for the whole Brotherhood. She is interrupted by a text from Stabler.

Stabler fills Bell in on the meeting with Webb. She is skeptical of Stabler's account that he was the peacemaker. He fills in the team on Webb's stuff going missing and heads off to see Cassandra. She seems flirty as she discusses her art with Stabler. He asks her for the name of the shipping company.

Donnelly and Stabler show up in someone's ho use and accuse him of stealing the artwork. They break a Ming vase when he doesn't cooperate. Donnelly ruins a painting. The man denies knowing anything until Donnelly threatens to break another piece. He gives them info about a security company. Corda is a side hustle for Port Authority cops.

Stabler is getting dressed. Eli asks him about his tattoo. Stabler isn't interested in talking about it. Eli is annoyed and storms out.

Bernie says Eli reminds her of Elliot at that age. He doesn't want to talk about his father. She says his father loved him and he needs to let go of the past.

In the car, Donnelly tells Stabler he's cheating on his pregnant wife. Stabler asks him if he thinks about what it means to grow up with your dad on the job.  Donnelly says he was headed for jail so his dad pushed him into police work instead. Stabler says he wanted to be an architect but his dad beat it out o hf him.

Donnelly confront a cop who is sleeping with a prostitute and involved with Corda. He tries to hit Stabler. Donelly gets nuts and starts shooting at the guy. Stabler takes the clip out and then continues to threaten him. He says a guy at JFK who is a high end shipper took the guns.

Stabler calls the tip in, then goes to a storage unit full of junk. He looks at a photo album and takes some projector reels. He asks Jet to help him and gets annoyed when she asks if it is porn. They're home movies he would like her to digitize for him.

Santos' wife has come in to plead with him to talk but he won't.

Stabler goes to holding to "secretly" see Santos. He asks what Santos has told the cops. This is not good that he's here, that means they have something on him. Santos asks what he should do. Stabler says he has to give them something. He doesn't want to see a good cop go down. Santos asks what to give them. Stabler implies he should give them Donnelly.

Stabler tells the task force who has Webb's guns. He plans to go there with Donnelly to get the guns back.

Stabler pulls into the meeting spot and Donnelly calls and says he can't make it so Stabler has to do this by himself. Stabler calls Bell, who wants to abort the mission but Stabler refuses.

Stabler goes into the warehouse. No one appears to be around. He finally finds Braden sitting on top of a shelf. Braeden asks who he is and refuses to believe he's Stabler.  He only wants to meet Donnelly. He tries to attack Stabler. Stabler fights him. The rest of the task force debates whether to go in. They hear shots fired and decide to go in. They arrest Braden and find the guns.

Stabler goes to see Donnelly and finds his wife is in labor and angry that Donnelly isn't around. He says he'll take her to the hospital. She is in a lot of pain in the car.

Donnelly arrives at the hospital and thanks Stabler. The baby has been born and it as the most incredible moment of his life. Stabler gives him a cigar. A nurse tells them to put the cigars out.  They go into a bathroom.

Stabler says that the cops showed up. He will make it right with Webb so Donnelly can be with his wife and kid.  Bell calls and tells Stabler that Santos told him where Hurley is. Stabler pretends the call is from Eli. Donnelly thanks him for having his back. He says Stabler was like a brother and insists on hugging him.

Stabler comes to see Webb with a box. Webb isn't happy that Stabler doesn't have his guns. He threatens Stabler with a knife then opens the box instead. Webb is pleased with whatever's in the box. Stabler says from now on you deal with me.

Two more members of the Brotherhood are arrested.

Webb brings Cassandra the sculpture Stabler brought him. She says Donnelly is unreliable and unstable and it scares her. Webb says Donnelly should be scared of her. He kisses her hand and says he will be right back.

Stabler looks at home movies on his computer. Bernie comes in and puts her hand on his shoulder.
