The investigation into the Brotherhood heats up on Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 2 Episode 17.

A new ADA isn't sure about the investigation into the Brotherhood, but allows it if Stabler will be quick, quiet, and efficient. Stabler of course doesn't take his orders from this guy, though he does check in with Bell. She says the ADA wants to get someone to flip on Donnelly.

Stabler pushes ahead with the case. He learns that Santos is planning to steal diamonds from a wealthy executive at a convention. Donnelly shows up and demands to be cut in and thanks Stabler for tipping him off.

The heist does not go as planned, as Donnelly decides to kill the victim. Soon after, Santos' house is surrounded by cops and he surrenders.

Meanwhile, Nova's brother decides to accept Webb's donation to his church despite Nova's warnings. Nova meets her brother in the chapel. She's praying that she's doing the right thing. She tells her brother she's undercover and trying to get Webb.

Finally, Denise and Bell have an argument after Bell discourages Denise from taking a job with Kilbridge.
