Benson has a flashback of when she helped Maria on a 911 call during her therapy session. Thankfully it's not Maddie. She says she closed that case. The therapist asks what she notices in her body and tells her to notice the tension. She says she closed this case and moved on. She recalls how everyone thought this call was a prank but she could hear the fear in her voice.

Benson goes to a police academy graduation and sees Maria's name on the program.

Curry brings homemade crumb cake for Fin who is not interested. Valesco interrupts to say some woman is here who is getting divorced. Curry tells Fin they are working together.

The woman, Lisa Miller, shows them evidence that her ex has child porn. The cops go to the apartment but find a dismembered body.

Meanwhile, Benson is at the ceremony and about to go up to Maria, but Fin calls and tells her about the dead body. She has to leave and only nods at Maria before leaving.

Benson arrives on the scene. Curry has been sick from the dismemberment but still wants to be part of the investigation. She and Benson discuss motive. Benson points out that not all pedophiles go beyond looking. She thinks that this crime was a crime of rage. She wants to see the ex-wife and gauge her reaction.

Benson questions the ex-wife, who seems upset. Lisa says she is not triyng to cover her tracks. She gets squeamish at the sight of blood. She calims she couldn't afford to hire a hitman and that she just wanted to divorce him, not kill him. She's eight months pregnant and wanted to protect her baby.

Velasco has found a bunch of photos of the same girl on the victim's phone. They're not explicit so he can share them on a screen. They're going to do facial rec and Benson and Curry are going to the garage to look at the car where the photos were taken. Fin hopes Curry doesn't get car seats. The CSU guy is very young and overly excited about the car being an older model.

Benson searches the underside of the car herself. She finds a tracker.

The cops find video of Wayne and some other girl -- possibly the last to see Wayne alive. Homicide calls. Another victim has been found.  (The homicide cops are not the ones from OG Law & Order, it doesn't seem, and are off-screen)

The cops arrive. Curry gets nauseated again. Fin fries coffee beans on the stove to help with the smell.

Curry, recovered now, finds another tracker. They clearly have a serial killer on their hands.

The ME says the second vic has been dead a week and Wayne 12 hours. He says the guy played with the bodies post-mortem. The bodies were dismembered by some sort of saw, maybe a jacksaw. The killer must have some strength to do this.

Benson calls. The girl from the photoshoot has ben identified.

The woman comes in with her mother who doesn't care that Wayne was murdered, but says her brother was a CO so she knows what Wayne was about. Nora doesn't know what she's talking about. Anyway she doesn't know the second guy but she met Wayne on an app called K-Dome, which is a sketchy app that kids use to get drugs and hook up with guys.

Benson looks at an old article about her rescuing Maria. She tells Finn she's bothered by life's little question marks. Fin has found out both girls spoke to a user named Previous Yanm, real name James Brock (no relation to Tom Skeritt's character on Picket Fences) The cops go to the house and hear noise coming from the inside. Some girls are laughing as they sneak into the house. They find two girls who say their fat her is at work.  The older girl won't let the younger one talk and doesn't want to cooperate. Benson says she will call CPS then, but Tori refuses so they both have to go with the

Benson fills in Carisi. Tori got a GED and does maintenance, Nina is 13 and a straight A student. James Brock has not been located -- is he on the run?

Nina looks at a photo of Wayne and says he was weird. He waved when he saw her but she didn't know him and he came over and sat on a bench next to her and talked to her and said he had condoms, and she was grossed out. She told Tori and she said a lot of guys are like that. Tori says her dad is on a long term contract and comes every other weekend and bitches about his bad back and trouble carrying things. Benson asks if her dad has every been worried about Nina. She and Nina both claim to not know anything about K-Dome.

The cops tell Carisi that they think Brock killed Wayne because he was bothering Nina. However Brock's car and phone have been abandoned for six weeks. The hotel job was wrapped up a while ago and Brock was headed home cause Tori needed him. The cops head out to the beach and find Brock's dismembered body. It's time to get Tori's cell phone records.

The ME confirms the body is Brock and says he's been dead at least six weeks.

Tori is arrested and says she has to pick her sister up after school.  The cops find her phone. She wants a lawyer.

The cops have found a jigsaw and realize she uses Nina to catfish these guys. They don't think Nina was involved. But Tori wants to protect Nina so they can try to use that.

Tori's lawyer tries to deny everything. Tori says these were bad men who maybe got what they deserved. Did her dad do it? She says the last time she saw hier father he was sad. Benson says this was not a suicide. She thinks Tori was try ing to protect Nina. Maybe her dad deserved to die too, at leat whoever killed him thought so. Tori says yeah, he did. The lawyer says stop talking and Tori ignores her and says all the victims deserved it and she liked killing them.

Tori tells Benson her dad made her sleep in the bed with him when her mom died, every night since then.  Sh'ed think of a vice around her head closing whenever he molested her. He started abusing Nina when she was eight too. She stopped him when she saw him going into Nina's room and allowed him to sleep with her instead. She began killing pedophiles to make the world safe. Carisi says Tori can't avoid prison time.

Benson says to Carisi she will not let Nina go into the system to be abused by someone else. The cops talk to Nina who cries and asks what will happen to her. Benson tells her she found her grandmother, who Nina doesn't know exists.  (Hopefully, she's not an abuser too). She lives in Texas and will come to take care of Nina.

Benson is at a pub drinking red wine. She tells Fin that she feels for Tori. She sees the terrified girl in her, trying to navigate and calculate the probability of doom. Fin says this makes sense. It's all about her. He says Benson is scared of what became of Maria. What if she's a jerk and doesn't remember this the way Benson does? Benson says he's not wrong. 

Benson goes to Maria's house and looks in the window before knocking on the door. Maria comes to the door. Benson shows her the article. Maria hugs her and invites her in.
