Law & Order: SVU Season 21 Episode 7 revolves around a Chinese sex trafficking ring.

SVU assists in a raid that results in the arrest of a Chinese woman who runs a massage parlor where the girls double as prostitutes, but they can't make charges stick without the cooperation of the girls. After finding and viewing security footage, they find out that at least one patron raped many of the girls.

The girls are all scared to talk and scared not to engage in the sex trade. They need the money to pay off the people who smuggled them in or else their families will be harmed. Nevertheless, Kat gets a girl, Lili, to agree to testify before a grand jury. Lili seems sure that she will soon be free, but after getting a text she asks to go to the bathroom, and Kat soon finds her dead -- she jumped out a window.

The case continues and eventually SVU discovers that the sex trafficking ring is being run by the Changs, a pair of billionaires who were once poor Chinese immigrants. However, Hadid thinks they are too well-connected to prosecute without hard proof.
