Law & Order: SVU puts Carisi in the middle of a conflict between two worlds.

When a young girl, Tori, is arrested for three murders after she got her friend to let her and her crew in to rob and kill them, she claims she was forced by the gang leader, G, to get them inside. The rest of the gang claims that Tori was the mastermind behind the robbery/murders.

Carisi calls SVU in and they get Tori to admit that she was abused and trafficked by G. The homicide division doesn't care. They want Carisi to prove he can close a murder case, and they don't want to look racist by letting the white girl go and charging the Black man.

Everyone is frustrated, including Tori's mother, but Benson has an idea: SVU should open a separate investigation into what G did to Tori. She gets evidence that Tori was abused, but the homicide prosecutors don't really care. Carisi has to go rough on Tori on cross and it upsets and disgusts both him and Rollins.

Carisi tries again to convince his bosses to go easy on Tori in the name of justice, but will they listen?

Fin: These idiots are cloud-chasing. The dummies want to be famous so bad they do our job for us.

Benson: Why us instead of homicide?
Carisi: Because she has bruises and multiple STDs.
Benson: So is she a suspect or a victim?
