Major Crimes Season 5 Episode 17 revolves around the murder of a heavyset man who is found dead in a tree. There is a lot of pot around him so it is presumed he was a drug dealer. Just as the investigation starts, Morales shows up with his father and insists Major Crimes go along with pretending he is in charge of the investigation.

The unit soon has a bigger problem, as Winnie Davis keeps showing up and objecting that they want special privileges, don't care about the budget, etc. Sharon does her best to handle her while still investigating the case. As usual, she finds a bunch of quirky suspects as soon the unit scratches the surface of the dead man's life. The search eventually leads to two less-than-intelligent pilots, but which one killed Felix?

To find out who killed Felix and what happens after the killer is caught, watch Major Crimes Season 5 Episode 17 online.

Meanwhile, Andy struggles to find the right place and time to propose to Sharon despite an ongoing murder investigation and Julio prepares for a meeting with Mark's grandmother which is supposed to give him temporary custody of his foster son.

Major Crimes Season 5 Episode 17 Quotes

Flynn: We caught a murder, so cancel everything.
Rusty: It's no problem, everything's insured, but can I just say I don't think this secret trip to Napa you're trying to take Mom on would have gone over as well as you think.
Flynn: What? I can't whisk your mom away for a romantic surprise?
Rusty: Whisk? Can I ask, since maybe I missed this, but since when does Mom like getting whisked, or getting surprised?

Eduardo: The Instagram... the Facebook...
Provenza: Don't forget The Twitter!
Eduardo: The Twitter. I don't get it. And I hate the Snapchat.
