The investigation into Vanessa and Bonnie's deaths continues on Major Crimes Season 6 Episode 7.

Vanessa appears to have been suffocated with a plastic bag. The team quickly learns that she was incapacitated with a stun gun that doesn't leave marks, and later that Curtis' bodyguard Tick had one. They also discover that Vanessa was sexually assaulted, leading to a suicide attempt and to her seeing a therapist who specialized in helping victims of sexual assault. The therapist, Jane, describes the assault in detail and it sounds like he had raped people before.

While the investigation continues, Gus confronts Rusty about the severance package that Rusty got for him, saying that he doesn't want to be paid off for sex. Rusty and Gus fight and later when Gus tries to apologize, Rusty admits that he can't trust him because he doesn't know who else he slept with while he was with Rusty.

Finally, Sharon gets emotional when Rusty's college diploma comes in the mail. She is happier than she's ever been but later confides to Flynn that she's scared of what the heart specialist has to say.
