Everyone's grappling with death when you watch Mom Season 7 Episode 5 online. An AA meeting ends with Mary dying of an aneurysm and the result has everyone a little bit shaken. In the aftermath, Bonnie decides to be nicer which is an interesting scenario when you consider that everyone is so used to sarcasm that they can't tell if she's being sincere. Christy decides to try to help Mary's grandson get out of a legal jam but has to turn to her boss for help. She ends up getting a lesson in how the legal system works. Meanwhile, Tammy realizes that Marjorie is getting older is likely to die before any of them. The realization freaks her out and she keeps trying to police how Marjorie lives. Jill decides to throw a memorial for Mary, but doesn't know anything about her so instead of getting things that Mary likes Jill got everything she liked and ended up feeling like she was at her own funeral. Wendy is curiously absent and Bonnie goes to check on her. Wendy's not feeling great because she feels like she's the group's Mary. She feels like they don't know her better than they knew Mary and that has her feeling down.
