On NCIS Season 12 Episode 8 a former Navy corpsman - Anna Dillon - comes to the aid of three people injured in a car accident - and is arrested for her efforts.

The accident was no accident - and Gibbs needs Dillon's assistance to solve the crime, which is his excuse for springing her from jail.

The law under which she is charged can't be changed, but Gibbs knows it's an outdated an unfair law, particularly as she managed to save two of the three accident victims. So he convinces his attorney friend Carrie Clark to intervene on her behalf.

Meanwhile, Abby and her boyfriend U.S. Park Police Sergeant Burt Moore have reached a two-month anniversary in their relationship. For some reason, Tony and McGee are sure this doesn't bode well for Moore. And the ever-curious Bishop has no idea why.
