A fight champion enters an arena to fight Ralen.

72 hours earlier, Jax contemplates what the shell from the Lost Race can do for her. Zazie comes in and wonders about Jax and Xander. Jax shuts her down.

Jett approaches Xander about Ralen. Hacking his monetary transactions, they figure out he's on Las Venus.

Xander heads out but Jett insists that he go along.

Jax goes to see Prof. Shral because he gave her an F in his course. Once she's there, he changes her grade to an A and asks her about the Sumi Empire. Shral tells her that Osborn has a mission for Jax. She is to get vital information from the visiting Princess Aleka.

When Shral shows Jax an image of Aleka, she recognizes her from her thoughts about the shell.

On Las Venus, Xander and Jett fight off a couple of thugs. When one runs off, another shows up and holds a gun on Xander. He recognizes this one as Greg, Jax's ex.

They have a drink together. Greg explains that after he escaped the Sea Hawk, he and his captain had to take rhiodine to survive and he became hooked on the super-aggression drug. After he was freed from the Hypatia Syndicate, he still couldn't break his addiction. He met another junkie, Cade Collins. Collins is fighting in the arena and Greg is his medic.

When Xander tries to force Greg to come back to Earth with him, Greg points out that the bar is filled with guys he's treated ringside and they won't hesitate to take Xander down.

Jett gets Xander to stand down and they explain to Greg that they're looking for Ralen.

Jax and Zazie talk out some misunderstanding and head to the lounge together.

Jett offers to help Greg find a cure for his addiction. Greg shares info on the arena fights. They realize Ralen's going to fight when bets start being laid on a Zatarian fighter.

The fighters all have explosive collars to prevent them leaving before their contract. They need to speak to Collins but since he'll recognize Xander, he sends Jett in undercover as a buyer and they find Ralen who tells them they shouldn't have come and that he doesn't plan to leave.

There's a live singer in the lounge, entertaining Aleka's party. Jax impresses Aleka by disarming a bodyguard and Shral arrives to make introductions.

Returning to the opening scene, Collins and Ralen engage in a fight. Xander breaks into the ring when he thinks Ralen might be killed. They find out Ralen's contract was bought by his own father and a rematch is scheduled for the next day.

Aleka tracks down Jax alone and they realize they have similar goals. Aleka asks her to spend the evening with her.

Greg looks Ralen over. They discuss their intentions. Greg tells Ralen that fighting Collins is committing suicide.

Aleka takes Jax to a simulation chamber to show her the palace. They discuss Sumi culture which is ruled by men and where the women are pitted against each other. Wives are expected to murder each other. Aleka tries to kiss Jax but she explains she has someone else and a relationship with Aleka can't happen.

Jett finds a treatment for the aggression and homocidal urges of rhiodine but they need alcohol so the three men go to the bar.

They meet up with Ralen and get very drunk and decide to call Jax.

Aleka tells Jax she plans on showing her back to the other wives. They'll either kill her or join her in a revolution.

Aleka tries to kisses her again and Jax demurs again. Aleka's soldiers approach and she reprimands them but they explain they've come to take Jax.

With Jax incapacitated, the guard tells Aleka that Jax is a spy and sends her to her ship, warning her that she will not start the revolution she seeks.

On Las Venus, Greg and Jett administer the treatment to Collins who sees clearly for the first time in a long time and apologizes to Ralen for his actions against Zatar. Ralen decides that Collins needs to kill him in the ring.

Aleka finds Zazie and recruits her to help Jax who is being tortured in their dorm room.

Zazie gives Aleka's intel to Jax when she wakes up. Jax thanks her and promises to be a better friend. Zazie leaves her to look at the intel. In a holo recording, Aleka tells Jax that the Sumi are trying to take the outer planets from Earth Com. She also tells her that the Sumi have an agent on Earth. She shows Jax her back and her tattoo of a knotted rope.

Outside the room, Zazie makes contact with Tierney who commends her for her work.

Aleka's last message to Jax is to warn her about Zazie.

On Las Venus, the battle begins. Collins kills Ralen and Ralen's father walks out of the arena as Greg tries to revive him.
