On this week's Person of Interest...

The POI team fails to save a person of interest from a Vigilance member.

Finch assigned Shaw and Reese a new number at a high school reunion. Matthew, a lawyer, is haunted by the death of his high school girlfriend and plans to kill the platonic best friend who he believed caused her death.

Shaw and Reese stop him but are also attacked by Vigilance.

Fusco helps Finch try and get to the documents about the government’s use of the Machine and its project: Northern Lights.

Vigilance steals the documents and releases them to the public.

Control deactivates the program.

The Machine retasks Root with the relevant numbers.
