- Carmen shows Michael her latest wine bottle label design and he marvels at her talent
- Carmen meets up with Margaret.
- Lettie and Billy talk about Junior who has a renewed purpose doing charitable work.
- In 1987, Honeycroft has a meal with the workers to celebrate the season, and Joe impresses him with his palate and accurate depiction of the wine. It gets Honeycroft's attention.
- Lettie finally gets to answer the phone when they're looking for Juana, and she talks to her sister Rosa. Pedro, the guy who they stole the truck from his cousin is holding her hostage for five grand.
- Joe informs Veronica and Antonio that a child of a family friend, Javier, is the new general manager.
- Antonio takes issues with Joe hiring Javier.
- Carmen is annoyed that she got blindsided by her mother who she hasn't seen since she was 16.
- Margaret opens up about her history with Joe and Lettie and she wants to apologize for things, but she's interested in Carmen's ideas.
- Antonio confronts Javier about his history of sleeping with men that he is keeping from others.
- They had a shared past as lovers and discuss their different experiences coming out to their parents which were both bad albeit differnt.
- He shows Javier the truck he found and asks him for information about it
- Young Joe asks Old Man Honeycroft for the five grand under the guise of his mother being sick but Honeycroft declines
- Veronica gets money from her financial advisor for paying off Delgado. But the account she's trying to get money out of is empty and Michael took the funds out.
- Antonio thinks Veronica told JOe about Javier and Joe is using that
- Mateo asks Daniela to go to dinner with him with his family. She feels awkward about it.
- Veronica confronts Michael about the money he took.
- Junior can't stop gushing about Father Ramos at dinner.
- Carmen shares that she saw their mother. It stirs up things at the table and she shares that Margaret is giving her an opportunity.
- Honeycroft accuses one of the workers of stealing his watch and tells the foreman to make everyone work an extra hour without pay. Everyone thinks Joe did it, but he claims he didn't.
- Joe meets with Wayne, a business partner who wants to work with Margaret and is casually racist.
- Lettie invites Margaret over. They have a heated exchange and bring up a past secret that they share that can take them both down.
- Margaret gives Joe the watch that she stole from her father.
- They tell Margaret that they aren't picking her for Taste of Sonoma and she calls it or what it is
- Daniela talks to Joe.
- Veronica learns that Joe did know about Antonio and Javier and he questions if she can put the company ahead of familly
- Javier asks his father Gonzo, who was the foreman, about the truck and Antonio shows up to ask more
- Billy meets Lettie out where they used to stay and asks him when she's telling Joe he's back. They overhear and see Javier, Antonio, and Gonzo at the truck
- JOe gets Lettie 4k for the watch and the rest comes from the other workerse
- Carmen is upset with Joe for ruing the Taste of Sonoma thing for her and Margaret and keeping Margaret away from her.
- Veronica hires Delgado instead to follow her husband since she has more leverage
- Antonio finds out that the truck is linked to a murder and wonders if his father had something to do with it, but wants to keep it under wraps to protect his father. Javier agrees
- Joe, Billy, and Lettie head to Bakersfield to save Rosa.
- Lettie shows up to bring Billy food and they spend time together, but Joe shows up with Junior to donate his truck to the school for the game Junior wants to coach, and he sees Lettie and Billy together. Billy and Joe speak for the first time in years
