The town gathers to watch the destruction from the storm, which caused a number of weather balloons to come down, including one that hit the Crashdown sign.

Liz and Max believe Earth science caused the storm and don't believe it's alien-based.

Anatsa wants to dig into the bank robberies, and Isobel tries to dissuade her from looking into things.

A man approaches Liz at the diner, on behalf of his boss, requesting a meeting and milkshake on the roof. There Liz meets Allie Meyer's wife, Shivani, who wants to partner with Liz on research projects. She also brings her a glowing locust to study.

At Max's press conference about the storm, Graham Green crashes with a downed weather balloon covered in iridescent goo. This prompts Max to enlist Alex in finding the rest of the downed balloons.

Bonnie convinces Clyde to learn more about Earth, and the two head to a roadside restaurant where they indulge in various foods. They also spot an ad for Graham Green's Galatic Glutch, which has some odd symbols. When a worker calls the cops, requesting their vehicle from the news, Bonnie wipes his memory.

Kyle runs into Anatsa at the hospital, who was there looking into a story involving one of the tellers having memory loss.

Michael and Liz dissect the locust, whose genome was altered, and once opened, its glowing guts rush and attach to the piece of the console Michael has in his bunker. Later, Alex wonders if the guts were attracted to the frequency of the console, and he asks Michael if he can run diagnostics on the console at Deep Sky, but Michale doesn't want to part with it.

Liz continues to struggle with Vanessa in class.

Bonnie and Clyde decide there will be no more detours and head to Graham Green's event. Meanwhile, Max, Cam, and Dallas travel to the roadside restaurant and discover that's where they're going based off the ad missing from the newspaper.

Kyle warns Isobel about Anatsa's digging.

At Graham's event, Anatsa asks Max about the heists, and he warns her not to disrespect him. Anatsa then catches sight of Bonnie in the finger jacket she heard about and follows her, where she sees Bonnie and Graham engage in a conversation before Isobel arrives.

Max confronts Clyde, who believes him to be Jones until he slips up. After a quick chase, Bonnie and Clyde escape.

Liz offers Vanessa a job at the diner to make extra money and finds her a scholarship to apply for.

Michael tells Alex that he changed his mind about giving him the console, but Alex tells him he doesn't need it. As Alex prepares to leave town in search of the weather balloons, the two promise to always find their way back to each other.

After Anatsa calls Isobel out for lying, Isobel gets into her mind and tells her to step away from the story.

Alex drives out of town but stops when a swarm of locusts crashes onto his car. When he gets out, he sinks into a hole, and Tezca arrives to tell him that he is now a part of a new contingency plan before forcing him into the sinkhole.
