At school, she presents her findings but she learns about 9/11.

Ray is falling apart, being arrested, and his dad is making deals to save him.

We learn that his dad moved the family to a new location and Ray didn't take it well.

His dad died during 9/11.

Elsewhere, Clay goes to his father's and is happy about getting attention. He finds himself in a troubling situation when he learns more about what happened.

His father sends him back to live with his grandparents and he's upset. Is this the last they see of each other?

Sonny has no ambition and tries to find a way forward, but the tragedy makes him change his mind.
