Recap

Logan filmed a commercial for the Living+ Real Estate brand, and some of the team and Logan are watching as the producer was working with him. He was sarcastic and shiny, annoyed at the buzzing all around him.

Kendall laughs, saying it's a Valentine's card. Good to see you, Dad.

Shiv is on a plane watching the commercial when she gets a call from Matsson. He's on the tarmac in another plane, waving to her. He can't believe she won't come over. She's just refueling. So, he walks over with his bare feet to say hello.

They're launching the Living+ product launch, which annoys Matsson, who thinks they're just minding the shop until he comes in. He says it's land cruises. He's not going to pursue Living+, so why carry on? And he needs someone on the inside who gets him, and he thinks that person is Shiv.

She sloughs off his offer, but when he leaves, she's mulling it over anyway.

Roman is heading into Waystar Studios, Kendall right behind. The gang is all there to get a sensitive, in-person update on the takeover. Ken and Rome bring up that they're concerned about Matsson's overall understanding of the operation. Roman says Matsson exhibited some erratic behavior, which piques Shiv's interest.

Roman says Matsson didn't seem like he even wanted the offer. He had a meltdown. And Kendall reminds them that with 50% of the sale in stock, it's concerning. Gerri says nobody minds a genius acting weird, and everyone else backs her up on that. His team is behaving professionally, and his reputation is sterling.

Everyone else leaves, and the sibs are left together with the brothers trying to bring Shiv into the loop. But she knows them. She fucking knows them. They're not good at this. She knows they're trying to fuck the deal. Finally, Kendall admits that they're not sure of the deal under the guise of protecting her.

She reminds them the plan was always they were doing the deal, getting out, and doing Pierce together. They assure her they wouldn't have dicked her over and wanted to keep her clean. Can they do the huggy thing, Roman asks? They do, and Shiv leaves to take a meeting. In the conference room, she breaks down in tears. Tom finds her that way, asking if she's OK, really OK.

Sarah has been finding her somewhere so she can have a moment to cry. You're scheduling your grief? Tom asks. While he holds her, they begin kissing.

Meanwhile, Roman and Kendall are going over Logan's notes for Investor Day, which includes Logan saying his sons couldn't join him that day. Living+ is essentially warehousing the elderly and keeping them drunk on content, Kendall says.

Roman is heading off for a meeting with Joy Palmer. Kendall says to get the franchise pumpin', pump it up. Roman's ready to fuck. Who wants to fuck? Hooray for fuckyhood.

Joy offers her condolences from everyone, and Roman refuses. His tummy is full on condolences. Joy wonders what Matsson is like. He dances around the question. He wants to know who is getting fired for Calypsotron. She says that situation has lots of big personalities. Roman wants to back her by turning on the money hose, but they want to make sure she can get the hit machine pumping.

Joy says people are concerned about democratic institutions given the rightward lean of ATN. She talks about the values of the creative community, but Roman says maybe she's not listening. He just wants to dump money on her to get the hit pump pumpin. Balancing streaming, creative, franchise creation, international marketing.

Roman says he gets it. She thinks he's useless and doesn't belong there. Of course, he could just fire her. Once he says it, he does it. HR will be in touch.

Kendall is putting together the Investor Day stage, where he wants a Living+ house built so he can walk through it, complete with clouds appearing above the house. Stage man Denny is like, this is for tomorrow? Then Ken says the cool new role is that no one can say no and he wants them to say how cool the new role is. Roman appears in the auditorium, but he's not ready to catch up Kendall on the Joy business.

I could swear that was Tyler Sheridan as the bartender.

Shiv and Tom say hello at the investor reception. She razzes him about wanting to get it on with models. He's not enjoying the game like he once did. But now, he says from the heart that he's sorry. Sorry for fucking her up. She laughs, saying you should be so lucky. I was fucked up long before I met you.

She says he was the one after the one, which is always hard. She apologizes for twisting his heart right up. They try to one-up each other, and she asks if he wants to play bitey. She bites him and he bites her, and the first one who stops, loses. So they literally begin biting each other's arms right in the middle of the reception.

Ken and Rome are riffing ideas with Greg. The pitch is that Living+ is a live forever or live more forever thing. Very confusing, and I'm lost.

Roman agrees that people would be intrigued if there was another way through life and death, and they talk about loading themself on a chip to live forever.

Gerri pulls Roman aside. What the hell happened with Joy? Roman cannot fire a studio executive, but although Joy has got an attorney already, Roman assures Gerri that Joy isn't fired. She's just fired. They'll kick her up to international or something. Roman says dad would have done it. Well, maybe, but he's not his  Dad. Roman says that Gerri pulling him out of meeting and using the F word feels disrespectful, and he needs her to believe that he is as good as his dad. Roman is on a roll, and she fires Gerri, too.

Roman catches up with Ken and says they should let Joy go. Kendall agrees, and Roman says cool, Gerri thought it was a bad idea, so I just fired her, too. He suggests Kendall roll that back, but Ken says fuck it. Look at you? Who you going to fire next? Dynamic Waystar team shaking things up. Some are saying these two young turks might just have what it takes to turn things around.

Tom and Shiv made love, which makes them both a little unsettled afterward. Tom is all in on Matsson, right? He says yes, and she wonders what to do regarding Matsson. Tom wants Shiv to be careful with that. But Tom wants her. He wants them back. Then he shouldn't have betrayed her, she says.

When he met her, he was always thinking about money and how to get money. When they got together, she didn't invite him in, and he felt caught between her and her dad. If he thinks that's shallow, then maybe she should throw away all of her stuff, and they can live together in a trailer park. She says she'd follow him anywhere for love, Tom Wamsbegans. Then she laughs.

Greg is trying to get the editor to build words for dead Logan to speak. The guy can't do that, but Greg says to make it happen so he can be in the good books. OK Mr. Snippy Snip?

Kendall is working with a guy named Pete, but the guy isn't confident they can make the argument, but he says he is anyway.

Shiv contacts Matsson on video. Tom is across the desk from her. She says she's not ready to drop stage weights on people's heads.

Kendall is not happy with the Living+ house but super excited they did the clouds -- until he sees them. His head hanging low, he says, that's not the clouds at all. He saw it in Berlin, and this isn't it. He needs to think. He asks Roman's opinion. The words still fit, Roman says, but where did these fun little numbers come from? Kendall assures him Pete's got the numbers.

Shiv asks what Roman thinks of the word and numbers. She's like, uh, those are big numbers. I'm worried, Rome. Ken's got that gleam in his eye. She thinks they should pull the plug on today. Rome says it's high risk, but we have to back it. She says Ken could do anything up there, and Roman would be a part of it. Ken has hair-brained schemes and then cracks under pressure. They should protect him. They should stop this.

Kendall has made flack jackets for him and Rome, but Rome has come to say they shouldn't do it. They should postpone. Ol' hangdog is there again as Ken's chin drops to his chest. The idea though, Ken says. Roman says pitching playhouses and living forever and fudging the numbers... Roman wants to raincheck this until another time. He's removing himself from it.

Karl wants a peak at the numbers, and when he doesn't get it, Karl lays into him. He says Ken has his dick in his hand, but if he says anything he doesn't like or makes him look foolish, he'll fuckin' squeal.

Co-CEO steps on stage talking about big shoes, big, big shoes. Big shoes. He's tanking immediately. It's one of the most difficult things to watch! He finally gets applause after thanking the crowd for support, but then he brings Logan on screen. Everybody behind the curtain feels like they're watching a grand trainwreck.

Once Kendall gets going, it's really not too bad of a presentation -- until Kendall drops the live forever bomb. He laughs, saying he can't off that, but he can offer health and happiness. They're offering the services that billionaires have that most people never get an opportunity enjoy. But then Kendall brings dad out again, and Logan says they can double the earnings of the parks division. Everyone in the back blanches except Greg, who says, that's really well edited.

As Ken's segment wraps up, Matsson sends a Nazi-referencing tweet that says... Doedrick Macht Frie. Not sure what that means, but Greg thinks it's great for Tom. His presentation isn't great, but now nobody will be watching. Kendall takes questions, and one of them is about the tweet. Ken says, well, I'm not gonna fave it.

Kendall says he wouldn't have said that and apologizes for any offense caused.

Shiv calls Matsson to back off, but he says he knows what he's doing.

Ken is saying that we don't often come across as we intend on social media. Living+ will be living social media in the real world, as people are hungry for that connection.

Matsson deleted the tweet. Everyone is congratulating themselves backstage. Roman leaves in the midst of it. Kendall sends Roman a video of Logan saying he wants to make a fairly historic announcement. He's convinced Roman Roy has a micro-dick and always gets it wrong. Roman listens over and over again.

Shiv and Tom flirt as they make plans for their future, which is strategy only.

Kendall walks on the beach, going for a swim in the ocean. He gets very far out.

Succession Season 4 Episode 6 Quotes

Living+. No, it's land cruises. Hey, you know how shitty and heartbreaking it is being locked up on a cruise? How about that, but you also get to stay in the same fucking place the whole time. I'm not gonna pursue, so why would you announce?

Matsson

Good to see you, Dad.

Kendall
