Dana Sue, Maddie, and Trotter interview Genevieve to work at the spa. She's excited to be part of this terrific team. Trotter also has Helen's vote by proxy, so Genevieve will begin the next day.

Trotter is concerned about the ladies, and Maddie thinks they should talk to Helen.

When Harlan found his dad on the floor, everyone rushed to the hospital to support him. Isaac offered to send food to his family. Things become awkward when Helen arrives.

Everyone is prepared to fix the Bixby's house so it's more rehab friendly. Helen suggests using the money from the foundation but says she's due back in court. Things are tense between her, Dana Sue, and Maddie.

Ryan flirts with Helen and suggests taking her to Charleston, but she hesitates to leave CeCe.

Maddie complains to Cal that her friends are mad at her for butting in and trying to fix things. He wonders if she's trying to run away from her own issues, but she reassures him that she's happy and wants her friends to be that happy too.

Genevieve buys champagne for her and Erik. They're celebrating her new job and his new consulting gig.

Dana Sue tries to apologize to Helen. She'd never purposely hurt her and wants them to have a Margarita night. Maddie didn't appreciate how Dana Sue took care, and Dana Sue blamed Maddie for not shutting her mouth.

There is drama at school since Kyle thinks Annie also can't see Jackson, and he hasn't seen Nellie. She lied again. Ty reminds Annie the car rides are over. Annie and CeCe become lab partners.

The Townsend family discusses the first day of school. Cal announces he'll work with Ronnie and Skeeter, and Katie is so proud of him.

Cal and Maddie discuss Ty's baseball scholarship from an alumni school.

After a romantic day, Ryan wants more of these adventures, and he thinks she's wasting her talents in Serenity.

Helen returns home with gifts for CeCe. The three women have their own margarita nights. The guys continue their basketball nights and support Harlan.

Kathy doesn't like Erik's dessert idea and wants something fancier.

Ryan stops by Helen's. He can't pretend and stay in Serenity any longer. He knows Helen deserves better. Helen falls apart and tells him everything she gave up for him. They're finally over.
