Maddie and the kids are at the playground, and everything is broken. The boys suggest mentioning it to the interim mayor, and Kyle wants to fix it up themselves.

Annie passed her driver's test, and Dana Sue says can drive as far as Castlewood.

Bill goes into the spa to talk to Noreen, but Genevieve rescues her.

Helen goes home and burst into tears the minute she sees her mom. When Helen tells her that she and Ryan broke up, her mom admits Ryan brought her lots of pain.

Paula tells a shocked Maddie that Helen and Ryan broke up. He left her a note, and she went to check on Helen and saw they were out of town. Maddie realizes how distant things have gotten.

Annie gets distracted after she and Jackson hang out and hits a car. Ronnie arrives and comforts her. Dana Sue arrives and spies Jackson, gets upset he didn't comfort her, and then figures out the lies. Annie is grounded for life.

Jeremy tells Isaac that Erik is working for Kathy, and she's like a tornado. Maddie tries to talk to Dana Sue, but she's stressed enough.

Maddie told Cal that Erik and Helen broke up, and she didn't tell them. He reminds her that she can't help everyone.

Bill stops by Noreen and Isaac's with a stuffed animal. He wants to get to know his daughter, but she's adamant about him not being involved. She reminds him that he barely acknowledged Isaac.

Kyle gets angry when he learns Annie lied and has been talking to Jackson. Lily drives him to the Lewises to deliver his flower.

Isaac tries to warn Erik about Kathy, but he won't listen. Cal arrives and tells Erik not to run from his demons.

Helen admits to her mom that her friends and her are fighting and she can't lose them.

Isaac confronts Bill and tells him to stay away from Noreen and Rebecca.

Maddie is inspired by Katie apologizing to Kyle and decides to write apology letters to her friends.
