We meet Joe as he's living out his days in the apocalypse in a bunker.

However, his life changes forever when his dog is killed by walkers.

He buries the dog and decides to find the woman he chatted to online before the world fell.

He goes on a mission to find the woman, but is captured by Evie.

Evie wants to steal his bike, but he tells her there's a knack to it that he can only work it.

So, they go on the mission together and have to work together.

Evie is skeptical of Joe at first, but they slowly become friends.

Their bike is subsequently stolen by a raider and Joe is less than thrilled.

He and Evie have a falling out and part ways.

Joe finds Sandra, but she's not the person he thought she was.

She tries to kill him.

Evie shows up and realizes there's more to the tale that's being fed to her and a tussle ensues,

Joe kills Sandra and the pair leave the bunker behind and rush away to the next safe place.

There's an element of ambiguity because we don't know what becomes of them next.

Where will they land?
