Noa and Daniel have been hooking up for weeks since returning from Puerto Rico. His family eventually calls him out for sneaking out early in the morning to keep seeing her. 

His mother, Mari, wants to meet her, but Daniel tells them he's just taking things slow and staying in their bubble. 

That's when Natalie sees a photo of Daniel and Noa kissing in Puerto Rico on the front pages of the tabloids. Daniel is called "Noa's mystery man."

When Daniel shows Noa, she's upset because it means the paparazzi are circling. 

Daniel suggests a dinner to meet his family, and Noa tells him she'd love to. 

Daniel informs them that Noa is coming over for dinner that night. Natalie tells him that while she'd love to meet Noa, she has to bail because she has a date with Amy. Daniel tells her to invite Amy over because he needs his sister's support. 

Mateo cancels a gig Vanessa set up for him and informs her that he came down with a cold. 

Then, the family prepares to host Noa Hamilton over for dinner. 

When she finally arrives, Natalie is speechless, Amy is a huge fan, Mari is welcoming, Raf has some snarky comments, and Mateo is just Mateo.

Noa asks for a tour of the bakery and Raf agrees. She apologizes for swooping into his family like a tornado, and Raf tells her he doesn't want Daniel to get caught up in some life he doesn't belong. 

She agrees, and it seems like Raf is warming up to her. 

At dinner, Noa butters them up by asking Raf and Mari how they met. It's a story they're both very proud of. 

When she asks Natalie and Amy how they became a couple, everyone falls silent. 

Mari assures Noa that Natalie and Amy aren't a couple while Raf scolds his daughter to confirm it. Amy explains that they're just friends, but Natalie runs off to her room. 

Just then, Vanessa walks in carrying soup for a sick Mateo. Shes' not pleased to see Noa at a family dinner after a few short weeks when it took her months to get invited.  She confronts the family about how they treated her, spills the soup on Mateo, and walks out

Daniel runs after her and pulls her to the side to talk. He informs her that Noa has nothing to do with the fact that he fell out of love with her. 

Rafael and Mari tell Noa that dinner is over, and she grabs her things to leave. When she gets downstairs, she realizes there's a slew of paparazzi waiting for her. 

She calls Lewis, who is on a first date with a man he's getting along with very well, and informs him of the situation. 

Lewis leaves his date to save Noa. 

Amy assures Natalie that she needs to do what she thinks is right. Natalie tells Amy she wants to be with her. They kiss. 

Noa runs back to the house to tell everyone shes' trapped, Vanessa declares she's leaving, and Natalie comes out of the closet. 

A fight ensues as Mari tells her daughter she doesn't know what she's feeling. Natalie defends herself and leaves with Amy. 

The parents storm off, and Vanessa confronts Noa and asks her why she feels trapped. She informs her that whenever she was with Daniel, she was proud. 

Noa cannot even answer before Vanessa tells her she's going to go outside and tell the paparazzi Noa is here. 

Noa calls Lewis to tell her what's about to happen.

Mateo runs after Vanessa and tries to tell her she's better than this. She leaves anyway, but when she steps outside and gets photographed, she reconsiders. 

Noa tells Daniel that people should have a choice of whether or not they want to be in the spotlight. 

Rafael tells Noa there's another way out, and shows her the tunnels of the bakery. She and Daniel take them, but when they come out from the other side, a photographer gets in their face and snaps the million-dollar photo.

Rafael has a chat with Natalie and informs her that she needs to give her mother time to process. He also tells her that they will love her no matter what. 

The next day, Lewis calls Trevor to tell him he had a great night but urges him not to reach out again because it's for the best. 

The doctor comes in and tells Lewis that the CT scan results have worsened and they need to talk about treatment. 

Noa and Daniel are laying in bed and contemplating their next move. She informs him that a relationship in the spotlight is hard work, and he tells her he's ready. 

They agree to see life outside of the bubble. "You're famous now," she tells Daniel who reads a tabloid headline out loud: The Baker and the Beauty.
