Red and Liz head to Iowa.

Red wants to steal files from Verdiant, a seed company and launderer for the cabal, in order to get leverage over the cabal.

The CEO of Verdiant is part of the cabal and had a plan to unleash a virus causing a global food crisis before her company would have the cure, for a lot of money.

Ressler is right behind Red and Liz, who tells Ressler to back off. He refuses.

Ressler also manages to track down Eli Matchett, who has taken the virus and plans to unleash it. He and Samar stop him.

Red visits the CEO and tells her to deliver a message to the Director, that he wants Liz exonerated and he’s coming after the cabal.

Glen discovers that Dembe has been kidnapped.

Harold tries to convince Ressler to recruit Tom but he doesn’t want to. Harold meets up with Tom and wants to work with him.
