Kristen Kramer has replaced Joe as captain. Fake Cecile gives Joe some information that will help his case against Kramer. He leaves to track down the lead.

Chester accidentally catches Barry and Iris having sex in the Starchives room. Barry tells him they are trying to have a baby.

Fake Cecile asks for Barry's advice regarding one of her meta clients. Barry recalls this case from years ago. He starts to feel ill, and whoever is possessing Cecile traps him in her mind along with the real Cecile.

Fake Cecile brings Barry to STAR Labs. Caitlin worries that he could be comatose for the rest of his life given his brain activity.

Fake Cecile uses her powers to sense Barry's emotions. She says that she sees a gold mask in his mind. With that information, Chester believes that Psycho Pirate, AKA Roger Hayden, is the one who did this to Barry.

Iris figures out that Hayden is still at Arkham Asylum, but his mask is in Central City Museum's possession.

The last thing the real Cecile remembers is getting hit by lightning during the Force Storm. Barry realizes that he doesn't have his powers in the mind prison.

Chester calls Sue Dearbon for help in stealing the mask from the museum.

Barry and Cecile find another Cecile that is wearing a straitjacket in the mind prison. She does something that makes Barry faint. In the real world, Caitlin reads a third brain signal in Barry's mind.

Iris figures out that the third brain signal is Cecile.

Sue and Fake Cecile get the mask. Fake Cecile puts on the mask and makes Sue shoot herself with a dart gun.

Back at STAR Labs,

Barry wakes up in the mind prison. Cecile tells him that they are at St. Carmine's Psychiatric Hospital where Cecile she was a patient.

When she was interning there, her mother died of cancer and she had a breakdown. She was admitted to the hospital. Once she left, she tried to forget that it ever happened.

Barry starts to get his powers back once Cecile starts confronting her past.

The mask wants to use The Thinker's chair to form a permanent bond with Cecile. Chester and Iris destroy the chair before she can do so.

Barry and Cecile escape the mind prison. They wake up in their own bodies.

Caitlin takes the mask to ARGUS where it won't be able to affect anyone else.

Sue decides to stay in Central City for a little while.

Cecile tells Joe about her past.

Joe tells Cecile about the lead he tracked down. He figured out that Kramer led her squad into an ambush, and she was the only one who survived.
