The remaining Swede realizes The Handler set them up with that Diego hit (the first one).

Handler and Lila argue over bringing Diego on at The Commission. Lila argues they need to bring people on that are loyal to the new regime.

At DS Umbrella, Grace uncovers a secret room, including details of Kennedy’s visit. Reginald doesn't tell her everything, but asks her to just trust him.

Five tells Luther of his plan to find the older version of himself that was sent to 1963 by the Commission. He plans to use the briefcase and get back home. Unfortunately, existing in close proximity to yourself in the same timeline can cause paradox psychosis.

Five enlists Luther to keep an eye out for the seven stages of psychosis and make sure they get the briefcase by all means. They find OlderFive and make a plan to exchange the briefcase for the correct equation to time jump back home (without reverting to his 13-year-old body). OlderFive has a different plan, though.

Carl tells Sissy Vanya is a KGB agent sent to spy. He wants them to work on their marriage and leave this behind them.

Vanya is being tortured by the FBI, who believe her to be a Russian spy. They give her LSD to interrogate. In her psychosis, Vanya hallucinates her family, which helps her regain her memory.

The connection between Vanya and Harlan is strengthened while she is tortured.

Diego begins orientation at the commission and sneaks off to the infinite switchboard, where he meets Herb. Herb assists Diego in finding out what actually happened on the date of JFK's assassination and the subsequent nuclear war.

Diego and Herb take a briefcase back to Allison’s in 1963, where she, Ray, and Klaus are wrapping up The Swede’s body.
