Our Man in New York
At Washington’s camp, Major Tallmadge sends a new spy into New York City to signal Abe in the American Legion. Meanwhile, Mary is frustrated that she keeps getting shut out of the Spy ring, while Anna gets to be an important part of it. But Mary may have found a way in, as she discovers a traitor among the women living outside the camp.
Gen. Washington has a strategy session with the French, but they disagree about the best way for the Continental Army to proceed. Gen. Washington insists on taking New York City immediately, while the French believe it is better to first attack in the South.
Col. Simcoe sees Maj. Hewlett at the pub and hatches a plan to take him out that night using two of his Queen’s Rangers and a prostitute.
The Queen’s Rangers attempt to kidnap Maj. Hewlett from his home, but Abe is waiting for them inside as well. Together Abe and Hewlett thwart the attack and Abe proposes that they team up once again to finish off Col. Simcoe.
As Peggy’s relationship with her husband, Gen. Benedict Arnold, continues to sour, she decides to help Cicero with his plot to take him down.
