Recap

The morning after, Mel apologizes for letting things get so far. Jack says he’ll wait for her, and they agree to stay friends for now.

Paige leaves Preacher the keys to her bakery truck, and Preacher tells Jack (and the town) she left because her dad was sick.

Hope tells Doc to take Muriel on a second (public) date. Muriel invites Doc to see a string quartet in Clear River. Doc asks Hope, but she turned him down.

They try giving Charmaine an IV, but she's afraid of needles. Mel attempts holistic therapy with Charmaine instead.

Connie’s niece, Lizzie, comes to town. Hope takes Lizzie on a tour of the town. When they go to the bar, Ricky is immediately taken with Lizzie. Lizzie gives Hope the slip.

Calvin offers Brady a chance to run a logging location and be a liaison between Virgin River and the loggers.

Jack confronts Calvin about the intruder who attacked Mel, convinced it was one of his guys. Calvin insists he doesn’t mix business with pleasure, so it couldn’t have been one of his men. After Jack leaves, Calvin tells Jimmy to get rid of Leo (the intruder).

Doc calls out Mel for letting Charmaine run all over her. After a day of antagonizing Mel, Charmaine says her mom died slowly in the hospital, which is why she doesn’t want to go. Mel shares her mom died, too, and Char decides to give Mel’s methods a chance.

Preacher reaches out to Connie for help with Paige’s bakery truck. Connie mentions Wes's visit and Preacher asks her not to mention Wes again to anyone.

Mel tells Joey she slept with Jack.

They find out Charmaine is pregnant with twins.
