- Jack's house burns to a crisp and he gets sick just thinking about it.
- Doc reminds Mel that it could be triggering his PTSD from Iraq, and she offers to bring him home with her.
- Jack looks for somewhere else to stay because he doesn't want to overstay his welcome, but it bothers Mel a bit.
- Doc is still trying to get in touch with Hope as a storm rages on where she is, and he's still keeping his eye issues and management plans under wraps despite the advice of his hedgehunter.
- Lizzie is annoyed that she doesn't get any privacy with Ricky because his grandmother is always around.
- They said faulty wiring caused the fire so it wasn't intentional.
- Brie tells Jack that she could go to the B&B instead and he can stay at his place over the bar. She also says she's sticking around longer.
- Mike gives Jack an update on things and says he too is sticking around in Virgin River
- Lily seems to be wiped out taking care of Chloe and there's a sense of foreboding that something could be wrong.
- Doc's search isn't going well. Muriel stops for a visit and notices papwerwork.
- Mel bumps into Brie in Clear Water and they spend the day togther gettting nails done and talking about Jack, but at one point, Brie freaks out when a male bumps into her.
- Ricky brings Lizzie to a cabin inn to spend the night
- Charmaine stops by and she and Jack talk. She apologizes for how she was before with him and talks about how happy she is with Todd. She mentions that Jack doesn't have to rebuild his house now because she and Todd have a nice house in Clear River and Jack can visit the twins whenever he likes without a formal custody agreement.
- Mel spends time with Doc and they talk about Hope since he's so worried that he hasn't heard from her and the storm got worse.
