Recap

Rip wakes up to Beth packing her bags. She's crying. He wonders where she's going. She's leaving because she sacrificed his little lamb. She doesn't feel wanted by John, so she's ready to walk out the door on everything.

Rip tells her that if she breaks her promise to him, it stays broken.

Beth goes to John's bedroom. She apologizes and asks to stay. He says it's not necessary, but it is for her. He says I love you, and that never changes.

There's a very sad conversation between Beth and Carter in which she tells him she is not and never will be his mother.

Beth asks Walker about prison. Visits, conjugals. Then she asks how to get a weapon. One that doesn't look like a weapon. This conversation unfolds while Rip watches. He tells her to take a hairpin into the prison. Rip rides over to Walker. Walker tells him.

Beth plans on one last act before the kinder, gentler Beth appears. Rip wants to take care of it, but she says this one is just for her.

Kayce is freezing his balls off under a big fur as he begins to hallucinate.

More card playing in the bunkhouse. Mia is still there. I didn't expect that.

Jimmy is back, and he's got Emily in tow. She's his fiance! Mia leaps out of the chair and socks Jimmy in the face, and Emily leaps to his defense. Lots of leaping in this catfight.

Jimmy didn't expect Mia to be there, either. She's disappointed he didn't fight for her. He took her at her word. Emily chose to go with him, while it was never an option between Jimmy and Mia.

She wants him to choose right now, and she's not going to like the answer.

Mia was just visiting Laramie.

John came out to see the horse and didn't want to interrupt Jimmy and Mia. It's Metallic Cat under a blanket, which is likely to hide the fact that it isn't actually Metallic Cat.

Jimmy tells John about his engagement and that Emily will take the truck back to the four sixes. Jimmy plans on working off what he owes to John. He won't ever break his word again. John says Texas was good for Jimmy, and the only person he owes is himself. John calls them even.

No matter what he decides, Jimmy always has a place at the Yellowstone.

Kayce gets a visit from Lee, offering help in his quest. When Kayce refuses, Lee gets angry. Monica comes to him next assuring him that it's just a dream.

Everyone is impressed with the new Jimmy.

The Market Equities person is annoyed with Beth. She gave Beth enough rope to hang herself, and she hung herself. She has committed corporate espionage, she says.

Caroline knows that Beth leaked information to the Times. Now Beth has made it personal with this chick. She's going to rape the fucking Yellowstone to death and promises Beth will be going to prison before she fires her.

John talks to Summer's judge, and he isn't all that interested in cutting Summer a break. Mitch says Summer is going to prison, and the only thing to debate is how long.

Beth gets the conjugal visit. The guy has no idea who is waiting. It's Beth. Duh. She's in a gold lame thing with thigh-high boots.

He doesn't even know who she is. This is when she learns that Jamie knew about this guy. She decides against killing him outright and mocks him instead.

Rodeoing. Roping. The boys are having fun.

Jimmy tells Lloyd he's going back to Texas.

Rip and John are worried. Then Beth comes in with her gold lame getup. She tells them they've got business to take care of and calls everybody outside. There's something she's gotta do tomorrow, and she wants to be a married woman when she does it. She's brought a priest. She doesn't care about the wedding, she cares about the marriage.

Jimmy thinks that as soon as you put beans in chili, it's stew.

One of the things that Rip wanted to get was Lloyd. He's the best man. Carter says he's just a stall cleaner. John tells Beth she cannot wear that dress to her wedding. She says she won't be in it long.

John wants to make it as real a wedding as they can under the circumstances.

Normally, the priest would say a few things, but he has no idea who these people are, so he skips to the vows.

Rip finally gives Beth his mother's ring that he took from her grave. They're married!

The priest promises not to press charges for kidnapping.

Kayce sees the wolf. Screams. What do they want from him? Imagines himself in the service. He sees his friend blown to smithereens. Big fight ensues. When he wakes, you can hear coyotes crying.

It's Summer's day in court. John said he talked to the judge, and we're about to find out how much he listened.

Summer wants to change her plea. John says that he trusts a jury more than the judge, but she chooses to trust her attorneys, instead. She's going to be very sorry.

As the judge speaks about her intent to do harm, she begins to regret her decision.

He looks at her file and sees a career criminal who has deluded herself from believing she is right. She gets over 65 years and will be eligible for parole in years.

She's sobbing and launches herself into John's arms. She's got a new fight ahead, and it starts now.

Mitch is a complete asshole, and John is annoyed beyond belief. He needs a drink. And he tells Mitch what's going to happen. He needs to suspend the felony assaults. Mitch is annoyed that she'll be out in eight months. Eight months of hell, John says. Mitch says the cancer of entitlement is eating away at everything. He agrees to change the sentence if she waits two days to file the appeal.

Beth is waiting for Jamie in his office. She wants him to bring up the bureau of prison management website. She is prepared to ruin her life today, she says as she reveals a gun. She has done everything to get her affairs in order and will kill him if necessary.

Jamie admits he knows about Garrett. Beth says that Jamie and Garrett both want what everyone wants, the land. She says that Garrett will immediately say it was Jamie's idea because he'll turn on Jamie without hesitation. She offers option two, which is that she tells Rip what Garrett did and what Jamie did to Beth when she got an abortion and was sterilized.

Jamie begs for his life on bended knee. There is a third option, she says.

Kayce is still under the tree. This time, an Indian woman comes to him. She represents the wolf. She's there to lead him through the doors. He follows her and the wolf.

He sees two paths. Looking down the left path makes him grimace. She can help him walk the path, but Kayce must choose it.

Kayce wakes up to find Mo sitting beside him. It's time to go home.

He tells Monica he saw the end of them.

Jimmy and Emily say goodbye to the wranglers. Lloyd walks away with a tip of his hat, and Rip reminds him he always has a place at the Yellowstone and that he's proud of him. Cowboys don't say goodbye, they say see ya later until they're in that fuckin' dirt.

Mia cries as they leave.

Jamie gets home and walks up to Garrett, kneeling down beside him. Garrett is ready to leave. He says he worries about Jamie being alone. If he could treat Jamie how to be fearless, he thinks Jamie would have it all.

Jamie kills Garrett and sobs at his side.

Jamie is driving away from Wyoming in the dark. He's got Garrett's body. He drags it to the side of the road when Beth tells him to stop. She takes a photo. He should have picked option one or two because, with three, he's fuckin' her's now.

John loves Jamie despite how hard he tried not to and is happy he's alive.

Carter brings horses to John for a ride. I hope that Beth soon sees Carter like John sees Jamie.

Yellowstone Season 4 Episode 10 Quotes

Beth: I'm sorry. I didn't know what she meant to you.
John: It's not what she means to me, honey. It's what's right, what's decent. No rules with our enemies, but she isn't our enemy.
Beth: Well, that's an argument for another time, but your ranch, your rules. I fight how you say fight. I'd like to stay.
John: This is your home. You don't need my permission to live here.
Beth: For me, I do.
John: Then you have it.

Hey. You're can away and then wander back in a few years, thinking everything's going to be the same, which it won't. I mean he might be gone. Shit, this ranch might be gone. And when it's gone, baby, I'm gone. You break your promise to me, and it stays broke.
