1. Madam Secretary: Blake Gets the Job Without an Interview

Blake had been struggling with self-confidence and it was so touching to see his grief turn to surprise and pride when Elizabeth told him she wasn't going to interview him because he was already her choice for the Senior Policy Advisor position.

2. The Kids Are Alright: Mike Has an Honest Talk with Lawrence.

Mike is often so gruff with the kids, so it's always heartwarming to see his softer side. The moment with Lawrence where he explained that he works hard to try to provide for his family out of love was especially touching because these two so often butt heads.

3. The Neighborhood: Calvin Admits He is Proud of Malcolm

Calvin is a tough nut to crack and he's as hard on his adult kids as he is on his neighbor, especially Malcolm. So it was heartwarming to hear him admit that underneath all the critical and sarcastic comments, there's love for his son and concern that he's wasting his life.

4. The Good Doctor: Shaun Helps Two Feuding Brothers

Shaun's struggle to learn the human side of being a doctor is always heartwarming when he wins. In this case, it was a double win because he was the only one to take a seemingly selfish brother's demands seriously. Although there were missteps along the way, Shaun's actions ultimately helped the brothers reconcile as well as get the dying one the kidney he needed to keep on living.

5. Young Sheldon: Sheldon Understands His Mom's Need for Faith

Sheldon Cooper isn't exactly known for being empathetic, especially with abstract, unproveable concepts like faith that he deems ridiculous. So when he showed concern that Mary had stopped going to church after the death of a young member, it really touched viewers' hearts.

6. Murphy Brown: Jim Dial's Acceptance Speech

Murphy Brown often emphasizes the political part of political comedy, so an episode devoted to non-political stuff like Jim getting an award and making a subtle overture to Phyllis, who had pined for him throughout the ceremony, was doubly heartwarming.

7. Blue Bloods: Frank and Erin Come to An Understanding

As time has gone on, Frank Reagan has become more and more of a curmudgeon, often following his political convictions at the expense of his relationships with his children. After Erin butted heads with him over a DA office policy he disagreed with, she got the closest thing to an apology Frank was capable of -- and it touched our hearts.

8. Chicago PD: Ruzek Learns Something About His Dad

Ruzek is a hard character to like and his insistence on trying to protect his dad while working undercover to catch a drug dealer looked like it was going to end badly! So when it turned out that not only was Bob Ruzik totally clean, but he was moonlighting as security for shady figures to try to make ends meet and had sacrificed everything to try to back up his son, it brought tears to our eyes.

9. A Million Little Things: Danny's Date With Elliot

A Million Little Things is one part tearjerker and two parts heartwarming moments to begin with, but one of the best was Danny Dixon's date with a boy in his class. Not only did it turn out that Elliot hadn't stood him up after all, but the date was going so well that the boys chose to include Gary, who was nursing a broken heart after his break-up with Maggie. Talk about heartwarming!

10. Days of Our Lives: John and Marlena's Wedding

Nobody does romance like Days of Our Lives, and the heartfelt vows between John and Marlena were so sincere and beautiful that even non-fans of the couple shed a few tears! And if that wasn't enough, the showrunners surprised viewers with a flashback of the late Frances Reid, whose Alice Horton was the matriarch of the show for over 30 years.

11. Law & Order: SVU: Reuniting an Immigrant Family

Law & Order: SVU presented a tearjerker of an episode in "Zero Tolerance", featuring a young girl who had been separated from her mother at the border and was terrified of the police. Although SVU broke all of our hearts when the cops were unsuccessful in stopping Gabriela from being detained at an immigration camp, it made up for it by allowing her to be reunited with her mother.

12. Magnum PI: Magnum Helps a Tycoon Find His Daughter

It was definitely miracle season for Magnum PI when Magnum's search for a tycoon's supposedly dead lover led him to find the daughter the man never knew he had. And if that wasn't enough, Rick and TC offered another miracle to a disabled vet, who needed help readjusting to civilian life.

13. New Amsterdam: Max Bonds with the Woman Who has His Sister's Heart

What a tearjerker! Max bonded with the woman who had his sister's donated heart, only to find that she was expected to die because the heart was failing. That made the miracle that much sweeter when the woman was able to pass all the tests needed to get another heart.

14. Chicago Fire: Benny's Final Act

It was rough for Severide to lose his dad to a sudden stroke, especially since Firehouse 51 was in a state of disarray thanks to Boden being sidelined by the incompetent Jerry Gorsh -- and the last thing Severide said to his dad was that Boden was "the father he never had." That made the miracle of Benny's last act even more touching: thanks to the talk he had with the Commissioner right before his death, Gorsh was removed from power, Boden was able to restore order to his firehouse, and Severide realized his dad did have his back after all.

15. This is Us: Kate Gets Pregnant

Kate's difficulty getting and staying pregnant has put viewers on an emotional roller coaster right along with her. So for Kate to finally get pregnant after suffering a miscarriage and being told her fertility issues made it unlikely it would ever happen was the best gift the writers could have given fans.

16. How to Get Away With Murder: Conner and Oliver Get Married

Considering all the drama surrounding their relationship, including Conner's involvement in burning Sam Keating's body as well as issues like Conner wanting to use Oliver purely for sexual hookups and Oliver contracting HIV, it's a miracle that Conner and Oliver's romance blossomed at all! So their wedding was a beautiful, heartwarming event demonstrating that love can overcome almost any obstacle.

17. Grey's Anatomy: Betty Returns Unharmed

Grey's Anatomy fans have rooted for Betty to get clean and stay that way for years. It seemed like the end of the road when she disappeared altogether after a fight with Amelia, but then she made a miraculous return, suffering no more damage than a cut to her head while she grappled with sobriety again. If that wasn't enough to start the tears flowing, the fact that Amelia finally officially accepted the responsibility of being Betty's foster mom was.

18. The Resident: Saving Twins During a Power Outage

Medical miracles always come with a side of tension, and there was plenty of that when the power went out on The Resident Season 2 Episode 1. Viewers were relieved, to say the least, when AJ and Mina managed to save a pair of very small twins while racing against time thanks to a power outage and a back-up generator with limited capabilities.

19. God Friended Me: Communicating With an Autistic Child

Viewers shared Katie's frustration with her inability to communicate with her autistic son. God Friended Me did a beautiful job of showing that non-verbal children sometimes communicate in other ways, and it was nothing short of miraculous (and tear-inducing) for her to discover that her son was aware of her and that he could communicate through music.

20. The Gifted: Marco Heals His Daughter

A character meeting his or her child for the first time is always heartwarming, but it was doubly so for Marco because his powers allowed him to heal his newborn daughter as well as set eyes on her for the very first time.

21. Suits: Louis and Sheila Conceive

Louis and Sheila's relationship has been rocky for a lot of reasons, but since one of them involved Louis' deep desire to have kids, Sheila getting pregnant was incredibly heartwarming. It was a great payoff for all the years viewers invested in this relationship.

22. The Walking Dead: Henry Calls Carol Mom

Carol might have lost her own daughter, but Henry calling her Mom showed her -- and viewers -- that she could still be a loving parent to someone despite the tragedy. What a heartwarming moment!
