The Vampire Diaries Season 6: Sexiest Scene, Best Villain and More!

at .  Updated at . Comments

We're running down all of the best and worst of The Vampire Diaries Season 6, and even with the departure of Elena Gilbert, there is a lot more fun (and rather annoying) stuff to share.

What delighted us? Well, surprisingly, Steroline wasn't at all the wet blanket we expected. Enzo and Lily, on the other hand, certainly were. And Sarah Salvatore? Dud!

We still have the surprisingly good storyline ahead, as well as the most unwelcome. Can you guess which is which? The good news is you don't have to because it's all written out for you below.

Enjoy!

1. SEXIEST SCENE

SEXIEST SCENE
SEXIEST SCENE: Let's get it on. Come on, guys. For everyone who wanted to poo poo on the Steroline parade, you cannot deny that when it comes time for them to get down to business, Caroline Forbes and Stefan Salvatore know how to make it happen. Whether it will fully carry into their humanity ridden bodies remains to be seen, but since the characters will still be portrayed by Candace Accola and Paul Wesley, we really should have nothing to fear when it comes to C H E M I S T R Y!! We say lock 'em up and throw away the key more often!

2. BEST VILLAIN

BEST VILLAIN
BEST VILLAIN: Granted, there was only one true villain on The Vampire Diaries Season 6. But what a villain he was! Kai was scary, sarcastic, witty, intelligent and even sensitive at times. Chris Wood brought out the best in the character, rightfully earning him a starring role on Containment.

3. MOST WELCOME CHARACTER CHANGE

MOST WELCOME CHARACTER CHANGE
MOST WELCOME CHARACTER CHANGE: The show has likely gone to the humanity shut-off well one too many times. But it was a welcome change of pace to see Caroline less bubbly and more bad ass. Props to Candice Accola for showcasing her (frightening!) range.

4. BEST USE OF 90s MUSIC

All things Gin Blossoms. Pancakes anyone? Will anyone really ever hear the Gin Blossoms and think of anything other than a prison world again? Tell the truth.

5. MOST UNWELCOME STORYLINE

MOST UNWELCOME STORYLINE
MOST UNWELCOME STORYLINE: Elena erasing her memories of Damon and then trying to get them back again. Felt way too much like a cliched amnesia storyline from a soap opera; and also like a forced way to create new Delena drama. She got her memories back though. Then she was shelved. Ahh. Good. Huh?

Vampire Diaries Quotes

You want a love that consumes you. You want passion and adventure, and even a little danger... I want you to get everything you're looking for. But for right now, I want you to forget that this happened. Can't have people knowing I'm in town yet. Goodnight, Elena.

Damon

Damon: You know what they are? Children. Like lighting a candle's going to make everything OK, or even saying a prayer. Or pretending Elena's not going to end up just like the rest of us murdering vampires. Stupid, delusional, exasperating little children. And I know what you're going to say: 'It makes them feel better, Damon.' So what? For how long? A minute, a day? What difference does it make? Because in the end, when you lose somebody, every candle, every prayer is not going to make up for the fact that the only thing you have left is hole in your life where that somebody that you cared about used to be. And a rock with a birthday carved into it that I'm pretty sure is wrong. So thanks, friend. Thanks for leaving me here to babysit. Because I should be long gone by now. I didn't get the girl, remember? I'm just stuck here fighting my brother and taking care of the kids. You owe me big.
Alaric: I miss you too, buddy.
