Heather Headley
Heather Headley is a Trinidadian-born American singer, songwriter, and actress. She won the 2000 Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical for her role as Aida. Headley has also starred in numerous other musicals, including the musical adaptation of The Bodyguard, the Broadway revival of The Color Purple, and the Encores! version of Into the Woods.
Headley won a Grammy Award for her album “Audience of One” in 2010. In 2018, she appeared in a recurring role as Gwen Garrett on NBC’s Chicago Med. Since 2020, she’s portrayed Helen Decatur, a strong lawyer on Netflix’s Sweet Magnolias.
