He also recurred in the series Melrose Place as a love interest for Doug Savant and alongside one of his closest friends, David Duchovny, in the hit series Californication. Beghe also co-starred with Moira Kelly in To Have and To Hold
He currently leads the ensemble cast of Chicago PD, playing morally ambiguous Sgt. Hank Voight.
