Being born in California, Kaley Cuoco got her start in the entertainment industry at the young age of six as a model. However, Cuoco's big break would come when she landed the role as the eldest daughter on 8 Simple Rules in 2002, although she ironically was six years younger than the actress portraying her younger sister.
Since then, Cuoco landed several guest starring roles on television shows and small roles in movies until she would land the female lead of Penny on The Big Bang Theory in 2007.
